Shillong, December 24: An Indian-flagged crude oil tanker was hit by a drone fired by Houthi militants in the Southern Red Sea, the US military said on Saturday, adding that no injuries were reported from the strike.
Today, the USS Laboon, a U.S. Navy destroyer, and F/A-18 fighters USS Eisenhower “shot down twelve one-way attack drones, three anti-ship ballistic missiles, and two land attack cruise missiles in the Southern Red Sea that were fired by the Houthis.”
“Two Houthi anti-ship ballistic missiles were fired into international shipping lanes in the Southern Red Sea from Houthi controlled areas of Yemen,” the Central Command said.
